Susan is a trauma therapist and Clinical Director of Sabino Recovery with over ten years of experience in residential, PHP, and IOP settings. She is the founder of Whole Self Healing of Arizona, a trauma-focused group practice, and served as President of the Tucson Chapter of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (2021–2024).
Susan has pursued extensive training in trauma healing modalities including TRM, EMDR, Equilateral: The Equine-Assisted EMDR Protocol, Structural Dissociation Theory, the Safe and Sound Protocol, and Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR) Levels 1–3. She holds advanced training in Alexander Technique/DBR Interweaves and serves as a DBR training assistant while completing her DBR Practitioner certification.
Grounded in the belief that healing happens within a safe therapeutic relationship, Susan brings compassion, authenticity, and lived experience to her work. She is also Vice President of Luz's Healing Hooves, a nonprofit providing low-cost equine-assisted trauma intensives to veterans and first responders.

Dr. Amanda Fialk is the Partner and Chief Clinical Officer at The Dorm, a young adult treatment community with locations in New York City, NY and Washington, D.C. Amanda received her master’s degree and a doctoral degree in Social Work from Wurzweiler School of Social Work where her dissertation focused on the clinical implications of countertransference in the treatment of addiction. She completed psychoanalytic training at The Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy in New York City. Prior to joining The Dorm in 2011, Amanda was the Program Director for New York Center For Living and Flatbush Addiction Treatment Center. Amanda has specialized training in DBT, CBT, addiction and co-occurring disorders, eating disorders, family therapy, EMDR and motivational interviewing. Amanda believes that clients and their families need to be treated holistically and from a strengths-based perspective and has seen firsthand the healing power of the therapeutic alliance.
She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and the New York Academy of Medicine and an adjunct professor at Wurzweiler School of Social Work.
